FRSC Promotes 98 Officers, 19 to Assistant Corps Marshal

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced the promotion of 98 senior officers, with 19 being elevated to the rank of Assistant Corps Marshal (ACM). This decision follows the approval of the Secretary of the Government of the Federation and was disclosed in a statement signed by the corps spokesperson, Filicia Kalu, in Abuja on Friday.

The promotions will take effect on January 1, 2026, underscoring the federal government's commitment to strengthening leadership within the corps and rewarding diligent professionals. The breakdown of the promotions includes 19 officers elevated to ACM, 55 advancing to Deputy Corps Command (DCC), and 46 to Assistant Corps Command (ACC).

Notable promotions to ACM include Oki N, Joseph C, Z. Mathew, and others.

Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed congratulated the officers, stating that the promotions reflect the corps' commitment to excellence, discipline, and career progression. He emphasized that the promotions are not merely rewards but come with greater responsibilities to reduce road traffic crashes and enhance safety on Nigerian roads.
