FRSC Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed Ends Complacency

Shehu Mohammed, the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), declared an end to complacency within the organization during a management briefing held over the weekend in Abuja. He launched a nationwide initiative aimed at reforming the FRSC, which includes deploying management teams to field commands to ensure operational excellence and strict discipline.

Mohammed emphasized that every command must reflect high operational standards and maintain absolute respect for the public. He instructed senior officers to lead by example and uphold uncompromising professional standards.

The reform initiative aims to recalibrate operational standards and enhance decision-making processes to address issues of incivility and unprofessional conduct. Mohammed warned that personnel found guilty of misconduct or abuse of authority would face immediate disciplinary measures.

The initiative also includes a citizen-centered approach to daily operations, with management teams interfacing directly with stakeholders to gather constructive feedback on service delivery.
