FRSC Launches Road Safety Campaign in Anambra State

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) unveiled a safer road habits campaign in Anambra, aiming to enhance road safety awareness among the public. The campaign featured a church advocacy program held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Igbo Ukwu, Aguata Local Government Area, on a Sunday.

Bridget Asekauno, the sector commander, highlighted critical safety topics, including pedestrian safety, the importance of wearing crash helmets, and the dangers associated with overloading and improper road crossing habits. The initiative is designed to promote responsible road usage and ensure strict compliance with traffic regulations, which are vital measures to mitigate road traffic crashes across Anambra State.

The program included distributing road safety flyers and engaging worshippers in interactive sessions to address their concerns. Rev.
