FRSC Warns Badagry Drivers Against Distracted Driving in Ember Months

The FRSC in Badagry, Lagos State, through its unit command led by Mr. Yusuf Sanni, has cautioned motorists against distracted driving during the Ember months.

The warning was issued during the flag-off of the 2025 Ember month public enlightenment campaign with the theme "Respons Safety: Stop Distracted Driving." The campaign emphasizes the critical role of human behavior in road safety and aims to address factors like speed, fatigue, overloading, phone usage, and other unsafe practices. It also focuses on making drivers accountable for their actions and urges passengers to speak up against reckless driving.

The FRSC plans to intensify enforcement strategies, collaborate with stakeholders, and enhance driver education to ensure safer roads.
