Fortis Global Insurance Plc Closes Trading Window for Q3 2026

Fortis Global Insurance Plc has notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited that it commenced a Closed Period from 1st October 2026, restricting insiders from trading in the company's shares. The closure will remain in effect until 24 hours after the company's Unaudited Financial Statements for the third quarter ended 30th September 2026 are published on NGX's Issuers' Portal.

Fortis Global Insurance Plc (NGX: FTGINSURE) filed a Notice of Closed Period with the Nigerian Exchange Limited on 2nd October 2026, disclosing that a Closed Period commenced on Thursday, 1st October 2026.

The closure is made in compliance with Rule 17.18(a) of the NGX Rulebook, 2015 (as amended). Under this rule, all insiders of the company and their connected persons are prohibited from directly or indirectly dealing — whether buying or selling — in FTGINSURE shares for the duration of the Closed Period.

The restriction will remain in force until 24 hours after the company's Unaudited Financial Statements for the third quarter ended 30th September 2026 (2026 Q3 UFS) have been made public through the NGX Issuers' Portal.

The company stated that all insiders and persons closely connected to them have been appropriately advised of the restriction. The notice was signed by Halima Jimada, Company Secretary and Legal Adviser. The board of Fortis Global Insurance Plc includes Chairman Akin Iroko and Managing Director Nomwen Emeghalu, among other executive and non-executive directors.
