Fubara Condoles Amaechi Over Mother's Passing

On Saturday, Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara issued a condolence message to former governor Rotimi Amaechi regarding the death of his mother, Dame Ezinn Amaechi. Fubara described the loss as an irreparable one, not only for Amaechi's immediate family but also for the entire Ubima community in Rivers State.

The statement, released by Fubara's Chief Press Secretary, Onwuka Nzeshi, emphasized the deep pain experienced by the Amaechi family and urged them to find solace in the good life that Dame Ezinn Amaechi lived and the legacy she left behind. Fubara acknowledged the vital role she played in shaping the character and values of her family and the larger community.

The condolence message also noted that prominent figures, including President Bola Tinubu and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, sent their condolences to Amaechi, who is a former Minister of Transport and a current vice presidential candidate for the African Democratic Congress in the 2027 general elections.
