Governor Fubara Assures Completion of Airport Road Bypass

Governor Fubara of Rivers State expressed his determination to complete ongoing infrastructure projects, specifically the new airport road bypass in Port Harcourt, which has reached 65% completion. During a project inspection, Fubara emphasized his high spirits and readiness to continue delivering projects that positively impact the lives of the people.

He assured the public that, despite recent political developments, including his withdrawal from the governorship primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), he remains focused on his responsibilities. The governor highlighted the necessity of the airport road bypass to create an alternative route for communication around the airport, addressing community concerns regarding disruptions caused by airport activities.

He conducted a tour of the project site, where he noted that the project is expected to be completed by October 2026.
