Rivers State Governor Fubara Promotes Business Growth

On Friday, during a technical workshop focused on business enabling reforms, Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara reiterated the administration's commitment to fostering a transparent and inclusive business environment to drive economic growth and sustainable development. The workshop, held in Port Harcourt, was organized in collaboration with the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) and the Rivers State Investment Promotion Agency.

Dr. Dagogo Wokoma, representing the Secretary to the State Government, noted the strategic position of Rivers State in Nigeria's economic landscape, highlighting its vibrant population, abundant natural resources, and maritime assets.

Governor Fubara emphasized the importance of creating policies that encourage business growth and attract both local and international investors. Zahrah Mustach Audu, Director General of PEBEC, acknowledged the workshop as a valuable platform for stakeholders to assess existing challenges and exchange best practices.

Dr. Petersid Chamberlin, Director General of the Rivers State Investment Promotion Agency, stressed the agency's role in creating a conducive business environment to drive job creation and economic development.
