Fubara Commits to Business-Friendly Environment in Rivers

On a recent date, Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State reiterated his administration's commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment during a technical workshop focused on enabling business reforms and investment competitiveness. The workshop, held in Port Harcourt, was attended by representatives from the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) and the Rivers State Investment Promotion Agency (RSIPA).

Fubara highlighted the strategic advantages of Rivers State, including its vibrant population, abundant natural resources, and maritime assets, which position it as a key player in Nigeria's economic landscape. He noted that the state aims to implement policy reforms that encourage business growth and economic prosperity.

Zahrah Mustapha Audu, the Director General of PEBEC, acknowledged the importance of the workshop in aligning government policies with global best practices to enhance the investment ecosystem. Dr. Petersid Chamberlain, the Director General of RSIPA, emphasized the agency's role in creating a conducive business environment that fosters job creation and economic opportunities.
