River State Governor Recalls 1,000 Teachers to Address Education Sector Criticism

River State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has authorized the recall and revalidation of 1,000 teachers in public schools across the state in response to criticism from Martin Amaewhul and the River State House of Assembly regarding the poor state of public education. The decision aims to address the significant shortage of teaching staff and fulfill the governor's promise to improve education in River State.

The revalidation exercise is scheduled to take place immediately, as confirmed by Sam Ogeh, the chairman of RSUBEB. The move comes after harsh criticism from the state assembly regarding the neglect of the education sector.
