Governor Wike of Nigeria revoked properties in Abuja owned by high-profile politicians, including former Kano Governor, Cross River Governor Donald Duke, former Senate President David Mark, former First Lady Patience Jonathan, and former Osun Deputy Governor Iyiola Omisore. The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) took action against 1,095 properties in prime districts like Asokoro, Maitama, Garki, and Wuse due to unpaid land charges.

The FCTA provided multiple notices and a grace period for compliance before revoking the properties. The move aims to enforce payment obligations and restore order within the capital's land system.
