Wike Revokes Land Belonging to Prominent Figures in Abuja Over Non-Payment

Governor Wike has revoked over 1,000 properties in Abuja, including those owned by notable figures like Patience Jonathan, Ayo Fayose, and the Emir of Ilorin, for failing to pay ground rent. The list of defaulters also includes former military and political leaders.

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) issued a statement announcing the strict enforcement against default plot holders. The affected individuals and organizations have been given a grace period to settle their dues before further action is taken.
