Tinubu Government Secures Agréments for 10 Ambassadors

The Tinubu government has successfully secured agréments for ambassador-designates from ten countries, as announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The countries involved include the United Kingdom, France, the United States of America, Ireland, Qatar, the Republic of Benin, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Senegal, and Sierra Leone.

The spokesperson for the Ministry, Kimibi Ebienfa, provided an update on the ongoing process of securing acceptance known as agrément for the newly appointed ambassadors. The statement indicated that the process is progressing steadily, with agreements already received from the ten countries.

Furthermore, Ebienfa disclosed that the date for the induction ceremony of these ambassador-designates will be announced in due course, pending final confirmation from the President.
