U.S. Names Nigerians on Deportation List Amid Crackdown

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has publicly released the names and photographs of Nigerians on a deportation list, identifying them as serious criminal offenders.

This list includes individuals such as Sundai Adediora, Sundai Kunkushi, and Mkpouto Etukudoh, among others, totaling 124 names. The deportation initiative aligns with the broader immigration enforcement strategy of the Trump administration, which aims to remove undocumented migrants deemed threats to public safety.

Although the list was made public, specific offenses committed by the individuals were not disclosed, nor was a schedule for their deportation provided. This move is part of the administration's commitment to mass deportations, following an executive order signed by President Donald Trump on January 20, 2017, which declared illegal immigration a national emergency and instructed federal agencies to tighten border security and accelerate the removal of undocumented migrants.
