Ambassador Awolowo Dosumu Hosts Church Leaders Dinner

On Monday, Ambassador Awolowo Dosumu hosted a dinner in honor of the Primate, Archbishops, and Bishops of the Church of Nigeria at his family home in Ikenne, Ogun State. He expressed joy at their presence and shared memories of his parents, Chief Ọbafẹmi Awolọwọ and Yeye Oodua H.I.D.

Awolọwọ, who were instrumental in establishing the Diocese of Rẹmọ 42 years ago. Dosumu conveyed that his parents' deep faith and commitment to service were central to their lives and were intentionally passed down to their children.

He noted the significance of the Diocese hosting the General Synod for the first time and highlighted the theme of the Synod, “The Priesthood of All Believers: Equipping God’s People for the Work of Ministry.” He invited attendees to explore the family home, including the newly opened bedrooms, the gallery of historic photographs, the mausoleum, and the museum, which symbolize the legacy of service and faith.
