FUOYE Celebrates Convocation Ceremony with Honors and Achievements

The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) celebrated its 10th convocation ceremony where outgoing Vice Chancellor Prof. Abayomi Fasina recounted the institution's achievements under his five-year leadership.

The ceremony honored distinguished Nigerians, including Ooni of Ife, Sultan of Sokoto, and Bishop Matthew Kukah. Notable figures like President Bola Tinubu and Prof.

Abdullahi Ribadu emphasized the importance of innovation and research in Nigerian universities. FUOYE awarded degrees to 7,684 graduates, including the first set of law students and postgraduates.

Prof. Fasina highlighted the university's growth and infrastructural development during his tenure, expressing gratitude for the support received.

The convocation also recognized the contributions of individuals like Prof. Chinedu Nebo, Isaac Asuzu, and Kayode Soremekun to FUOYE's academic excellence.
