Prof Fasina Bows Out as FUOYE VC After Remarkable Achievements

Prof Abayomi Fasina has officially retired as the Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE). During his tenure, he oversaw significant infrastructural development and academic progress, with FUOYE becoming the fourth most sought-after university in Nigeria.

Notable achievements include the implementation of a 20-point agenda for transformation and the graduation of 7,684 students, including 131 first-class honors. Prof Fasina received praise for his leadership, with support from figures like President Bola Tinubu.

The university also experienced growth in postgraduate programs and overall student enrollment.
