Fury Trains Amid Venue Disputes for Joshua Fight

Tyson Fury has resumed training in Miami as uncertainties persist regarding his proposed fight with fellow Briton Anthony Joshua. Fury's promoter, Frank Warren, confirmed that preparations for the bout are underway, although no final agreement has been reached on the venue.

Initially, Wembley was favored, but the possibility of staging the fight in the United States has created tensions, with commercial interests pushing for American soil. Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, described the upcoming days as critical for negotiations.

Both fighters have signed contracts, but Joshua's stipulates that the fight must occur in the UK. Despite this, Netflix and Saudi financier Turki Alalshikh prefer an American venue to maximize viewership.

Hearn has proposed contract revisions, including a larger purse for Joshua to address U.S. tax implications. He warned that the fight could be postponed to December, which both he and Joshua wish to avoid.

The targeted date remains Friday, November 20, at Madison Square Garden.
