Osimhen Undergoes Successful Surgery for Forearm Injury

Victor Osimhen, a 27-year-old football player, successfully underwent surgery for a fractured right forearm on Monday at Maslak Acibadem Hospital in Istanbul, as confirmed by Galatasaray. The injury occurred in the 10th minute of a UEFA Champions League match against Liverpool, where he collided with defender Ibrahima Konaté.

Despite playing in pain until halftime, he was withdrawn and later examined at the hospital, where the fracture was confirmed. The surgery was performed by club doctor Dr.

Yener Nce. Osimhen is expected to be sidelined for a maximum of six weeks, with a potential return to training in four weeks, followed by two weeks of individual training before rejoining the squad.

Turkish media reports suggest he may return in time for the Istanbul derby against Fenerbahçe on April 26, depending on his rehabilitation progress. This season, Osimhen has contributed 19 goals and seven assists across competitions.
