Tinubu Mourns Ibrahim Galadima's Passing at 78

President Bola Tinubu conveyed profound grief over the passing of Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima, a notable sports administrator from Kano State, who died on Saturday at the age of 78. In a statement signed by his special adviser on media and strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu extended condolences to Galadima's family, the government, and the sports community in Kano State and Nigeria.

Galadima held various positions in sports administration, including serving as the chairman of the Kano State Sport Council and as a commissioner. He was also involved at the federal level, serving as president of the defunct Nigeria Football Association, a precursor to the Nigeria Football Federation, from 2002 to 2006.

Tinubu described Galadima's death as a significant loss to sports administration in Nigeria, acknowledging his contributions to the development of Nigerian football at both grassroots and elite levels.
