Ibrahim Galadima Laid to Rest in Kano Amid Dignitaries

Ibrahim Galadima, who served as the chairman of the Nigeria Football Association (NFA) from 2002 to 2006, was buried in Kano, with his funeral rites held at the Fagg Jumua Mosque. The event attracted a multitude of dignitaries, including the 15th Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, and the chairman of the National Sports Commission, Alhaji Shehu Dikko.

Other notable attendees included Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, the current NFF boss, and former Kano State Governor Senator Ibrahim Shekarau. The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), represented by Mr.

Isaiah Benjamin, expressed condolences on behalf of the entire sports fraternity, recognizing Galadima's extensive contributions to Nigerian football. His passing was attributed to a prolonged illness, and he was remembered as a pivotal figure in the administration of football in Nigeria.
