Gambero Rosso Launches First Italian Wine Roadshow in Lagos

Gambero Rosso, a leading Italian food and wine authority, made its historic debut in Nigeria by hosting a top Italian wine roadshow in Lagos, marking a significant milestone in the country's evolving food and wine hospitality landscape. The event took place at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, with the official support of the Italian Embassy in Nigeria, represented by Ambassador Roberto Mengoni.

The roadshow welcomed 200 guests, including wine enthusiasts, HORECA professionals, wine importers, and culinary experts, who engaged in a celebratory experience of Italian wine culture and craftsmanship. Major highlights included a series of two interactive masterclasses led by Marco Sabellico, editor of Gambero Rosso's Vini d'Italia, and supported by renowned wine consultant Victoria Mulu Munywoki.

The event culminated in the recognition of outstanding contributions to Italian food and hospitality in Nigeria, with Ambassador Mengoni delivering a keynote address emphasizing the cultural exchange power of food and wine.
