Ganduje Back In Nigeria After UK Medical Trip

Governor Ganduje of Nigeria has returned to the country after a medical trip to the UK. He resigned as the APC chairman in late June due to health issues but has now resumed his activities.

Ganduje had served as the APC National Chairman until his resignation in August 2023. Following his departure, he took on the Chairmanship of the Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) on July 9.

The former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Netanwe Yilwatda, has been named as his successor. In other news, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has reportedly placed a former NNPC boss on a watch list as part of an ongoing probe into a billion-dollar refinery turnaround maintenance.
