Ganduje Denies El-Rufai's Claims on Dadiyata's Disappearance

Former Kano State Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje strongly denied allegations made by former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai concerning the disappearance of Abubakar Idris Dadiyata.

Ganduje described El-Rufai's claims as reckless and unfounded, asserting they were an attempt to shift responsibility for the incident, which occurred in Kaduna State. Muhammad Garba, a former commissioner in Kano, supported Ganduje's statement, emphasizing the seriousness of the accusations and the need for verified evidence rather than political rhetoric.

Ganduje urged that the focus should remain on legal investigations and justice for Dadiyata's family, warning against politicizing the unresolved matter. El-Rufai, in response, denied any culpability regarding Dadiyata's disappearance, suggesting that Ganduje was attempting to deflect blame.

Dadiyata, who was abducted three years ago, was not a critic of the Kaduna State government but had been critical of Ganduje's administration in Kano.
