Tinubu, Obasanjo, Akpabio Praise Abiodun's Airport Project

On a significant occasion, President Bola Tinubu, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, and Senate President Godswill Akpabio commended Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun for his transformative efforts in the state, particularly the inauguration of the Gateway International Airport in Iperu-Ilishan. The airport is part of a broader initiative to enhance Ogun State's infrastructure and economic development.

During the event, President Tinubu expressed gratitude for Governor Abiodun's achievements, highlighting the airport as a landmark project that will improve connectivity and attract investments. He also acknowledged the governor's commitment to agriculture and modern transport solutions, such as the introduction of 1,000 electric bikes.

Former President Obasanjo remarked on the historical significance of the airport, noting its potential to reduce travel time to Abuja and Lagos. Akpabio praised the governor for his efforts in increasing federal allocations and enhancing the state's infrastructure, which includes the construction of 1,600 kilometers of roads over the past seven years.
