Tinubu Unveils Gateway International Airport in Ogun State

On Saturday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Ogun State to unveil the Gateway International Airport located in Iperu. This inauguration is a key milestone in the state's infrastructure development agenda.

The ceremony was broadcast live and highlighted the collaboration between federal and state governments to advance transport and economic growth in the region. During his visit, President Tinubu was scheduled to inspect several key projects across various sectors, including transport, energy, agriculture, and security, reflecting the government's commitment to comprehensive development and investment in the state's economy.

Governor Dapo Abiodun welcomed President Tinubu on behalf of the state, emphasizing the importance of the projects in improving infrastructure, mobilizing security, and enhancing emergency response capabilities. The projects also include a newly acquired aircraft for Gateway Air, cargo facilities at the airport, a 30MW independent power plant near Ewekoro, and major road projects to improve connectivity.
