Gbajabiamila Supports 8,000 Students with Educational Materials

On Wednesday, Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to the President, distributed educational materials, including textbooks, school bags, and exercise books, to 8,000 students from 23 secondary schools in Surulere, Lagos State. Schools that benefited included Ajigbeda Secondary School, Iyun Stadium High School, Surulere Girls High School, and several others.

Gbajabiamila urged individuals and organizations to support government efforts to enhance Nigeria's education sector, stating that the government cannot do it alone. He emphasized that regular interventions are essential to relieve the burden on parents and improve student outcomes.

The distribution of materials is part of several educational interventions during his tenure as Speaker of the House of Representatives. Muiz Dosunmu, Vice Chairman of Surulere Local Government, commended Gbajabiamila's initiative, while Christiana Badejo, Principal of Stadium Secondary School, highlighted the gesture as a valuable investment in the future of students.

Aisha Jimoh, a school prefect, expressed gratitude on behalf of the beneficiaries.
