Genesis Energy Group Sponsors UNILAG Energy Bootcamp

Genesis Energy Group participated as the Headline Sponsor of the Energy Transition 360° (ET360°) bootcamp, organized by the UNILAG Energy Club, which took place over four weeks at the University of Lagos (UNILAG). The program engaged 100 students from various academic disciplines, including engineering, finance, science, architecture, management science, social science, and computing.

Participants explored the technical, financial, legal, and carbon dimensions of Nigeria's energy sector. This initiative aligns with Genesis Energy Group's commitment to youth development and inclusive growth through its corporate social responsibility arm.

The bootcamp aimed to address the skills gap in the energy sector, recognizing that young people require more than academic qualifications to succeed in specialized industries. The Grand Finale of the bootcamp was held at UNILAG, showcasing the importance of practical knowledge, mentorship, and industry engagement for the next generation entering the workforce.
