Uzodimma Responds to Davido's Call for Peaceful Osun Election

On Thursday, Hope Uzodimma, the Governor of Imo State, issued a statement through his Senior Special Assistant on Electronic and Creative Media, Ambrose Nwaogwugwu, in response to Davido's plea for a peaceful, free, and credible governorship election in Osun State. Uzodimma advised Davido to direct his appeal to the people of Osun rather than to him, emphasizing that the election's outcome would be determined by the voters.

He further suggested that Davido should focus on supporting his uncle, implying that an electoral defeat was imminent. This response followed Davido's earlier remarks, where he urged political stakeholders to prevent interference in the Osun election, expressing concerns about rumors of attempts to turn the state into a political battleground.
