Davido and Gov Adeleke Rally Support Ahead of Election

Davido, a prominent Nigerian singer, participated in a campaign event alongside his uncle, Gov Ademola Adeleke, in support of Adeleke's re-election bid for the governorship of Osun State, scheduled for August 15. At the event, Davido entertained a crowd of young supporters while wearing the Peoples Democratic Party's yellow campaign cap.

Gov Adeleke, known for his energetic dance moves, joined Davido on stage, dancing to some of the singer's songs as the audience cheered. This event occurred shortly after Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma suggested that Adeleke should prepare for a potential loss in the upcoming election and advised Davido to focus his influence on Osun voters.

Davido had previously called for a peaceful, free, and credible election, expressing concerns about political interference in Osun State. Adeleke defended his dancing at public events, asserting that it does not impact his governance.
