Ghana Considers Joint World Cup Bid with Nigeria and Ivory Coast

Ghana is exploring a potential joint bid with Nigeria and Ivory Coast to co-host the World Cup, as confirmed by Ghana's Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adam. This initiative aligns with the growing trend of shared hosting, with the 2026 World Cup set to be held across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The 2030 edition will span Morocco, Spain, Portugal, Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay, while Saudi Arabia has secured the hosting rights for 2034. The trio of West African nations believes their collective experience and infrastructure make for a credible bid.
