Bishop Kukah Urges INEC for Clean Elections in Nigeria

Catholic Bishop Kukah of Sokoto Diocese called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to guarantee transparent and credible elections in Nigeria. Speaking at a leadership conference in Abuja with the theme "Political Stability for Sustainable Development in Africa," Kukah highlighted the importance of electoral reform and political accountability to prevent democratic stagnation in Nigeria and elevate the country's global standing.

He emphasized the need for political leaders to prioritize the will of the people in elections to avoid undermining Africa's progress. Kukah also stressed the significance of honest and innovative leadership to foster cross-sector collaboration for Nigeria's development.
