GMI Praises Tinubu's Reforms on Third Anniversary

The GMI (Grassroot Mobilization Initiative) commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his third anniversary in office, describing his administration's reforms as bold and transformative despite the economic hardships faced by Nigerians. In a statement issued on Tuesday, GMI's coordinator, Samaila Musa, noted that President Tinubu demonstrated uncommon courage in confronting long-standing structural challenges rather than pursuing short-term political gains.

The group acknowledged that while the reforms required significant sacrifices from citizens, they were essential to prevent economic collapse and ensure sustainable growth. Musa emphasized that the hardest part of the journey may be behind the nation, urging Nigerians to remain patient and continue supporting the administration.

GMI praised the government's infrastructure initiatives, including projects like the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and the Sokoto-Badagry Expressway, and highlighted the importance of local processing and industrialization for job creation. The organization also expressed confidence that the benefits of ongoing reforms would become evident in the coming years.
