Golden Eaglets Begin Camp for WAFU B U-17 Championship

The Golden Eaglets have commenced their training camp in Abuja in preparation for the 2026 WAFU B U-17 Championship. This tournament is crucial as it will serve as a qualifier for the 2027 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.

Nigeria's U-17 team has faced challenges in recent years, failing to qualify for the last two editions of the competition. Head coach Eboborits Uwejamomer is leading the training efforts, focusing on rigorously selecting talented youngsters who will represent Nigeria in the WAFU B tournament.

Uwejamomer is assisted by Olumid Ajibolad, Moham Kachala, and Abdullahi Isa in this critical task to secure a place in the upcoming U-17 AFCON.
