Gombe APC Forms Reconciliation Committee for 2027 Elections

On Thursday, Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya inaugurated a 25-member reconciliation committee within the All Progressives Congress (APC) to address internal disputes and strengthen the party in preparation for the 2027 general elections. During the inauguration, Yahaya urged party members who were dissatisfied with the outcomes of recent congress primaries for local government elections to set aside grievances and embrace peace.

He emphasized the importance of dialogue to rebuild trust and restore unity within the party as the elections approach. The committee, chaired by Deputy Governor Dr.

Manassah Daniel Jatau, is tasked with engaging aggrieved members in discussions to foster a collaborative environment. Yahaya expressed the goal of retaining electoral positions in Gombe State, aiming for at least one million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming elections.

Jatau thanked the governor for the confidence placed in the committee and pledged to work diligently to reunite and strengthen the party's prospects for future elections.
