Gombe Governor Inaugurates APC Reconciliation Committee

On Thursday, Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya inaugurated a 25-member reconciliation committee for the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Government House in Gombe. The committee is tasked with healing internal divisions and strengthening party cohesion to ensure electoral success in the 2027 general elections.

Yahaya emphasized the need for party members to embrace dialogue and set aside grievances following recent congresses and primaries. He acknowledged the mixed outcomes of these political activities but urged members to focus on unity and collaboration.

The committee, chaired by Deputy Governor Dr. Manassah Daniel Jatau, will engage with aggrieved members to rebuild trust and foster forgiveness.

Yahaya expressed confidence in the committee's ability to deliver on its mandate and maintain the APC's dominance in Gombe State. The committee's operations will be decentralized across the state's three senatorial districts, and its members are expected to work diligently to ensure alignment with the APC manifesto and the governor's development agenda.
