Kwara APC Reconciliation Committee Initiates Peace Efforts

The Kwara State Progress Congress APC has established a reconciliation committee, chaired by Col. Abdulwahab Ademola Lawal (rtd), to address internal disputes arising from the party's primary elections.

The committee's goal is to encourage aggrieved members to engage in dialogue and find amicable solutions. Lawal emphasized the importance of loyalty to the party and urged members to refrain from inflammatory statements that could escalate tensions.

The committee is tasked with identifying the root causes of disputes and facilitating resolutions, with a comprehensive report to be submitted to the state executive. Lawal also called for cooperation from the media to report developments responsibly and transparently.

The committee includes members such as Dr. Oluwatoyin Opawoy, Mr.

Musa Yeketi, and ACG Ahm Abbass, and will hold consultations across the three senatorial districts to promote healing and reintegration within the party as they prepare for the 2027 general elections.
