Gombawa Motor Expelled from Gombe Park Amid Allegations

Gombawa Motor Nigeria Limited was issued a notice to vacate the Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo Mega Park in Gombe State within 24 hours on June 25, 2026. The expulsion was based on repeated violations of the park's operational regulations, as cited by the Mega Park Management Committee.

The company publicly declared its support for the People's Democratic Party governorship candidate, Professor Isa Pantami, leading to allegations of political retaliation. Muhammad Umar, the company's secretary, described the expulsion as politically motivated, arguing that the notice failed to specify the alleged violations and infringed on their constitutional rights.

Dr. Sani Sabo, the general manager of Gombawa Motor, confirmed the expulsion but dismissed claims of political victimization, stating that the decision adhered strictly to the park's operational regulations.

The Gombe State Government has not issued an official response to the company's allegations of political intimidation.
