Inuwa Yahaya Appoints New Commissioners and Aides in Gombe

Gombe State Governor Inuwa Yahaya has appointed three Commissioners-designate, two Special Advisers, and four Senior Special Assistants as part of efforts to strengthen the state's governance structure. The Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Ibrahim Njodi, announced this in a statement issued on Tuesday.

The three Commissioners-designate are Dr. Ahmed Wali Doho, Nasiru Adamu Degri, and Dr. Muhammad A. Bello, whose names have been forwarded to the Gombe State House of Assembly for screening and approval.

The Special Advisers appointed are Abdulmalik Jibrin and Mohammed Nuhu. Additionally, Jibrin M.

Ali, Sadiq Abubakar (popularly known as BB Kumo), John Launa, and Danlami Sanda have been appointed as Senior Special Assistants II on Political and Community Engagement. While the appointments of the Commissioners-designate are subject to the approval of the State House of Assembly, the appointments of the aides take immediate effect.

These appointments aim to enhance effective coordination and support the implementation of the administration's development agenda.
