Niger Governor Bago Appoints Six Commissioners-Designate

Niger State Governor Mohammed Bago has appointed six commissioners-designate and four aides as part of efforts to strengthen governance and improve service delivery in the state. The announcement was made by Abubakar Usman, the Secretary to the Government of Niger State, in a statement issued on Tuesday.

The commissioners-designate include Hon. Lucky Barau from Gurara Local Government Area, Hon. Isah Wakili from Bosso Local Government Area, Dr. Isah Adamu from Kontagora Local Government Area, Hon. Emmanuel Alamu from Magama Local Government Area, Hon. Shuaibu Saidu Kaboji from Mashegu Local Government Area, and Mohammed Danladi Garba from Borgu Local Government Area. Additionally, Alhaji Nma Kolo has been appointed as Chief Political Adviser, while Yahaya Emilugi, Yusuf Tagwai, and Salman Yusuf were named Special Advisers on Political Matters for Zones A, B, and C, respectively.

The appointees are expected to appear before the State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation as required by law.
