Gombe Government Responds to Infrastructure Damage, Ensures Public Safety

The Gombe State Government, led by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, is taking swift action to restore damaged infrastructure caused by erosion and flooding in Gombe Metropolis. Following heavy rainfall, the government ordered relevant MDAs to assess the affected areas and provide recommendations for intervention to protect public and private property.

The Commissioner of Works and Transport, along with a team, inspected nine severely affected locations to prioritize urgent solutions. The government is committed to ensuring public safety, convenience, and safeguarding critical infrastructure in the region.
