Pantami Promises Digital Transformation for Gombe 2027

Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, the former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, has announced his intention to run for the governorship of Gombe State in the 2027 general elections. During the unveiling of a project program executed during his time in office, Pantami emphasized that his record in public service will speak for him.

He implemented thousands of initiatives across Nigeria within four years, focusing on digital transformation, youth empowerment, and economic development, with particular emphasis on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Pantami stressed the importance of inclusivity in these initiatives, ensuring that no state is deliberately excluded.

He received support from retired Commissioner of Police Stephen Audu, who cited numerous achievements during Pantami's tenure, particularly in Gombe and across the country.
