Gombe PDP Unveils National Assembly Candidates for 2023

The Gombe State chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has officially unveiled its candidates for the National Assembly seats. The announcement was made through a letter issued by the party's secretariat, addressed to the national chairman and signed by the chairman of the screening committee, Moham Dan Azumi, and the secretary, Musa Shehu Abubakar.

The candidates include incumbent Senator Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo for the Gombe North Senatorial District and Senator Anthoni Siyako Yaro from the All Progressives Congress (APC). Aliyu Abubakar Hammadu has been confirmed as the PDP candidate for the Gombe South Senatorial District, while Gidado Alhaji Lawanti will contest for the House of Representatives from the Akko Federal Constituency.

Other confirmed candidates include Moh Lamido for the Dukku/Nafada Federal Constituency and Umar Galadima for the Yamaltu Deba Federal Constituency. The exercise was monitored by officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure compliance with electoral guidelines.
