Judikay Reveals Heartbreaking Sixth Pregnancy Loss

Nigerian gospel singer Judikay, born Judith Kanayo Opara, disclosed in a video shared on Instagram that she experienced her sixth pregnancy loss in February 2025. At three months pregnant, she initially dismissed mild cramps while continuing her daily activities.

However, the situation escalated with light bleeding that intensified, leading her to rush to the hospital where doctors confirmed the miscarriage and performed a dilation and curettage (D&C) procedure. After returning home, Judikay allowed herself to grieve, noting that the nights were particularly difficult as she often woke up overwhelmed with emotional distress.

She described the experience as devastating, marking the sixth time she has faced such a loss. Judikay expressed that the pain was almost crushing and shared her anguish upon realizing that the bleeding meant she had lost her baby.

She has been married to Anselem Opara since November 2020, and the couple welcomed their first child in March 2022.
