Lilian Nneji Accuses Gospel Industry of Career Sabotage

Minister Lilian Nneji, a Nigerian gospel artiste, has publicly accused certain individuals within the gospel music industry of deliberately sabotaging her career by providing event organizers with false information regarding her availability. In an emotional video shared on her social media platforms, Nneji revealed that she encountered multiple people who expressed their desire to invite her to events but were discouraged after being misinformed that she was traveling or on vacation.

She stated, “For the past one week, I have met about four persons in different places... they said to us, you have travelled, you are on vacation.” Nneji also addressed claims that she was on tour, stating she had made no such announcement. She described the actions of those spreading misinformation as “stylishly practicing witchcraft” and urged them to cease.

Additionally, she dismissed rumors about her not being based in Lagos, asserting her strong ties to the city, where she was born.
