This post coincided with allegations of infidelity involving celebrity photographer David Martins and his estranged wife, Alicia Daniella. Martins publicly shared what he claimed were WhatsApp conversations between Adejo and Alicia, which included discussions about booking an Airbnb in Lekki for her and her son, as well as a request for a selfie.

Martins stated he reached out to Alicia after feeling a spiritual impression during prayer that she was in trouble, and he provided financial assistance for her hospital bills and accommodation. Adejo insisted that his wife was aware of his actions and that there was no romantic intent, claiming he has documentation to support his account.
