Gov. Abiodun Commends INEC As By-Election Records High Turnout

Governor Abiodun praised INEC for the successful by-election in Ikenne Local Government Area, which he participated in at Polling Unit 002 Ita Osanyin Iperu Ward 3. He expressed satisfaction with the early arrival of materials and smooth voter accreditation process using the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS).

Heavy security presence was reported in Sagamu, Ikenne, and Remo North, with officers from the Nigerian Army, Police, Civil Defence, and FRSC ensuring law and order. Despite the large voter turnout at polling units like Westley Primary School, Iperu Unit 004, Ogere Unit 002, and Sagamu Polling Unit 7, security officials maintained a peaceful atmosphere throughout the exercise.

Governor Abiodun commended the high turnout and the security measures put in place for the by-election.
