Benue State Electricity Law 2026 Signed by Governor Alia

On Monday, Governor Hyacinth Alia signed the Benue State Electricity Law 2026 during a ceremony at the old banquet hall of the Government House in Makurdi. This legislation is designed to create a legal framework for increasing electricity generation, transmission, and distribution within the state.

The law is anticipated to have several positive impacts on the economy of Benue State, including providing reliable and stable power supply to homes, businesses, schools, and hospitals.
