Gov. Buni Advocates Economic Empowerment in Yobe State

On Saturday, Governor Buni called on lawmakers to prioritize economic empowerment during a distribution event in Gashua, located in the Bade Local Government Area of Yobe State. The empowerment items, reportedly worth N100 million, were distributed to members of the Yobe State House of Assembly representing the Bade Central constituency.

Governor Buni emphasized his administration's commitment to supporting businesses and vulnerable groups. He urged lawmakers, including Hon.

Muhammad Garba Gagiyo, to continue their support for local economic development initiatives. The distribution included 60 electric bikes, 10 boxer motorcycles, and 10 bicycles, benefiting at least 525 people in the constituency.

Hon. Sadiq Yahaya Attajiri, the minority leader of the Yobe State House of Assembly, noted that despite political differences, members remain committed to serving their constituents and delivering democratic dividends.

The program aims to uplift the community and show appreciation for the support received during the 2023 elections.
