Governor Eno Named Patron of Directors Guild of Nigeria at 25th Anniversary Celebration

Governor Pastor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has been confirmed as the Patron of the Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN) during the Guild's 25th-anniversary celebration. Governor Eno emphasized the importance of mentorship in the Nollywood industry to nurture young talent and ensure its future growth.

He urged Nollywood directors to prioritize mentorship to enhance the industry's capacity and competitiveness against foreign markets. The Governor announced plans to expand the State Creative Academy and Creative Village to empower young people in the entertainment industry.

The DGN President, Uche Agbo, commended Governor Eno for his support and investment in the creative sector, describing him as a Champion Patron of the Guild.
